Description

Thursday mornings:       10.45 – 1.15

Thursday afternoons:      2.00 – 4.30

Thursday 7 July – Thursday 11 August

This is a leisure course, welcoming all abilities.  Working in six week blocks, if you enjoy it, and would like to continue with more classes, then you are welcome to book for another course.

The aim of the course is to develop creative skills and learn the craft of traditional and contemporary upholstery, as well as furniture restoration.

You will need to bring a small piece of upholstery to work on, and all tools are available during the class to get you started, but of course collecting your own tools eventually is advisable. Materials are available to buy as you go and will be paid for at the end of term.

Fabrics are not supplied.

Amanda is an AMUSF fully qualified Master Upholsterer.  She runs her own upholstery business and has taught for many years, meeting many lovely people and bespoke furniture designs along the way. She loves to continue sharing her knowledge with you.

The course costs £180 for six week course, two and a half hours per week with a well deserved coffee break!

If you would like any more information and booking details please contact Amanda for availability.
