What can I say about the Dolly Parton evening other than it was just FABULOUS.Dolly was one of the best tribute acts I have every seen (all of our party felt we had seen the real Dolly Parton!!). How wonderful to be able to have such high calibre acts come to Milford on Sea.
Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The James Bond evening was huge fun, with an excellent meal. As ever great cooking and presentation. Tomorrow is our second anniversary of living in the village and we are so grateful that we came here. There can be no better village in England. Sonia/John Sewell

I just wanted to say as a relatively new resident of the village I find the community centre information invaluable. My family and I love being part of Milford on Sea and can't imagine living anywhere else. Feel very luck to be part of it all. And the bonus is that it's such a beautiful place! Keep up the good work.

I would just like to say that I think the Community Centre's website is really great - so up to date and really easy to navigate. Colourful, informative - and what an amazing range of things going on - glad that I live in Milford.

BOLLYWOOD COMES TO MILFORD Once again the Milford Community Centre team showed their many talents in arranging a splendid evening of song, dance and excellent food. A large and appreciative gathering were entertained and amused with songs by Noel Coward, readings from Rudyard Kipling and exotic dancers performing high octane and complicated dance routines from a group of 1920's flappers and three delightful and energetic Indian dancers. Added to this was a truly magnificent curry feast. The icing on the cake was the fact that it was held in our local Community Centre, to which many of us could walk - no carbon footprints there!!

Being a regular visitor to Milford on Sea , and now the Community Centre is in full swing, I try to arrange my visits round one of the many functions that are now held there. How wonderful to have a centre in the village for people the local people to use. From Classical concerts to birthday parties, to Art exhibitions and to themed fund raising nights, where we are all superbly well fed and entertained, the Community Centre is a great place to go . Well done to Sue and Maggie and the team, for all the work they put in, to organising the functions. Sorry to have missed the latest Raj one, but hope to be there for the next one.

We came to the Jazz/Swing evening last months, wow what a good evening. I have not previously liked this type of music, it was smashing. Thank you Penny

Thanks for the use of the Community Centre last Saturday for the RNLI Christmas Fair. We have received loads of positive feedback from our visitors and we raised a good sum for the RNLI.
Also attended Raj in the evening. The Community Centre is a great meeting point for our village. Congratulations to the whole team. Long may it continue

Hi Susan and the Committee Members. Just wanted to say a very big thank you for allowing us to come and stay at the Community Centre in Oct 08 half term. We have stayed at many community centres over the years but must say we were VERY impressed with your centre, in particular the cleanliness and the well equipped kitchen. The Brownies all had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, even paddling in the sea! We would love to come and stay again please. Many thanks Sarah Spurr, Kay Moran and Sue Jeans (Guiders) and all the Brownies from 1st and 2nd Calmore Brownies

So much on offer since the community centre got going. Affordable fun, learning & companionship for all sections of the community. How did we manage before this adventure began! Now really looking forward to the Classical Christmas music on 7th Dec. One click onto the web site opens the door to so many opportunities. Big thanks to the hard working imaginative team, long may it continue.

The Milford-on-Sea Village Community Centre is a thriving organisation that runs an amazing number of events to suit all tastes. Jazz, Opera English Songs, Raj Meets Bollywood etc. The last named was a most enjoyable event with songs from Noel Coward and Cole Porter, Indian Dancers and some excellent Indian Food. In addition the community Centre provides Art Shows, Coffee mornings and Charity lunches and is the focus for Village Life
