Why Pilates?

Some of the benefits of Pilates…
Improved flexibility, greater strength and muscle tone, flatter tummy and trimmer waist, better posture, toned buttocks, thighs and upper body, fewer posture related headaches and neck/shoulder pain, increased bone density, greater joint mobility, lowered stress levels, noticeable improvement in other sporting activities.
This is a form of exercise that will help you rebalance, realign and strengthen your body. The mind body connection will teach you relaxation techniques and a stronger core will ensure a better posture and a stronger back.

Juliet has been working as a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor since 2004 and is registered with R.E.P.s and N.R.P.T as an advanced instructor.

AND PILATES

"Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness. In order to achieve happiness, it is imperative to gain mastery of your body. If at the age of 30 you are stiff and out of shape, you are old. If at 60 you are supple and strong then you are young." Joseph Pilates

Pilates classes are starting in September 2010 in the New Community Centre.
